Norton Creek is home to one of the top rated trout streams in the southeast.  Black bears, wild turkey, deer, and many other woodland animals frequently meander through the grounds at Wood Fern  Lodge. The screened porch provides a wonderful setting for enjoying a diverse

symphony of bird songs as well.
